2012 ETU Championships - Eilat, Israel

The 2012 ETU European Triathlon Championships will take place in the
Red Sea resort of Eilat, in Israel, between the 17th & 22nd April
2012.
Eilat
is a beautiful sunshine resort on the shores of the Red Sea, with a
vibrant promenade area full of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops only a
few metres from the wonderful beach and crystal clear sea.
Nirvana
Europe are delighted to be working alongside the ETU and the event
organisation, to provide travel and accommodation packages for athletes
and spectators traveling to the event.
We are now in a position to also offer add-on sight seeing tours to some of the incredible locations
Israel has to offer!
These can be seen in the Add On Tours Section to the left.
Following our Inspection Visit in the Spring, we have earmarked the
hotels we will be using, all a very short walk from the event site on the
shores of the Red Sea.
Air travel, however, is the key to a relaxed enjoyment of this event.
Conventional air travel from the UK to Eilat would involve a change in
Tel Aviv, where baggage, including bikes, would need to be reclaimed at
the International Terminal and re-checked in at the Domestic Terminal, a
5minute drive away.
*** We are currently negotiating with El Al, however, to establish exclusively for our clients a mechanism for...
- Special tagging of baggage at Departure in London enabling bags to be
extracted in Tel Aviv and delivered overland direct to hotels in Eilat.
This would enable clients to simply transfer between Terminals in Tel
Aviv with hand baggage and obtain their checked in baggage at their hotel
in Eilat. ***
