2012 Nirvana Europe Triathlon/Duathlon Calendar

Nirvana Europe are the Official travel provider for Great Britain Age Group Triathlon and Duathlon teams, competing in European and World Championship events

We are once again delighted to provide travel, accommodation and logistical support to all British Triathlon Age Group members and support teams to the following 2012 events:


ETU European Duathlon Championships - Horst, Netherlands
ETU European Triathlon Championships - Eilat, Israel
ETU European Long Course Triathlon Championships - TBC
ITU World Triathlon Championships - Auckland, New Zealand
ITU World Duathlon Championships -Nancy, France
ITU World Long Course Triathlon Championships - Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain

A very brief summary of our method of operation would be as follows:

- To make a visit to the event location, including discussions, wherever possible, with the race organisation;

- To inspect hotels and make choices, where a choice is available, according to a range of criteria, including location, availability, price, "bike friendly" management, etc;

- To contract hotels, months ahead of events, to ensure the availability of accommodation to Great Britain team members after team selection;

- To plan and contract ground transport from airport to hotel and if dictated by location, hotel to event site;

- To study the logistics and operation of airport concourse and forecourt areas to design the most efficient transfer of arriving clients to hotels;

- To review flight options from the UK to the event location and establish whether contracting group deals is appropriate or whether the range of options indicates simply buying to demand;

- To produce a costed travel package for each event, either flight inclusive or accommodation only;

- To promote the travel packages to team members and supporters via the British Triathlon web site, our own web site and by hard copy information sheets;

- To provide an airport meet and greet service at arrivals airports, with a hosted transfer to hotels, either by coach or smaller vehicles, in each case also providing for the transport of bikes;

- To have experienced event staff in the event location, to assist clients wherever possible, with travel related problems and queries;

- To make sure all requisite insurance is in place for ground transport arrangements;
