Hosted by the city of Pescara, this 70.3 event will be one of the first races in the 2012 Ironman 70.3 European season.
The bustling city of Pescara provides spectacular views from the seaside directly up to the 3000-meter tall mountains of the Abruzzo.
Experienced in hosting large-scale events, such as the 2009 Mediterranean Games, and known for its numerous outdoor tourism activities, Pescara is an Italian city which looks set to deliver a fantastic new event.
